Aubrey Plaza
Aubrey Plaza, born on June 26, 1984, is a stand-up comedian and actor well-known for her witty sense of humor. She stars as April Ludgate on Parks and Recreation. After doing improv and sketch comedy on The Upright Citizens Brigade Theater Plaza began her first web-based series with The Jeannie Tate Show. In the wake of her debut the actress went on to was as a character in Judd Apatow Funny People and Scott Pilgrim's vs. World. Her birthday is today. Aubrey Christina Plaza born Wilmington Delaware is the granddaughter of attorney Bernadette Plaza and financial specialist David Plaza. Their father was Puerto Rican while her mother is Irish and English. Plaza has received her education at an all girls Catholic school in 2002, and the Tisch School of the Arts at New York University in 2006. When she was a student at the Wilmington Drama League, Plaza was President of the Student Government. Plaza was struck by a stroke while in her sophomore year at the college. It left her with an expressive aphasia aswell being paralyzed. Her recovery is complete. Plaza has been performing improv comedy, and sketches at Upright Citizens Brigade Theater since 2004. The Laugh Factory, The Improv and the Laugh Factory in N.Y.C. are among the venues where she performed stand up comedy. Plaza has appeared on television as Robin Gibney in E.S.P.N.'s Mayne Street, The Jeannie Tate Show and in the premiere episode of Terrible Decisions starring Ben Schwartz. In CollegeHumor Troopers she played an satirical character from science fiction called The Princess. Plaza first made her appearance playing saxophone alongside Cassorla's Bona Fide. But she made her debut as a guest in the Father John Misty's Hollywood Forever Cemetery Sings' in the year 2012. HarmonQuest was a show in 2016 that included Plaza with the character of Hawaiian Coffee. That same year, she played Aaron Burr on Drunk History and Cat Adams during Season 11 C.B.S. Television show Criminal Minds. It was her first time returning to her role on Season 12 of the show. In the following year, it was revealed that Plaza was to appear on the indie film An Evening with Beverly Luff Linn.
